The work covered both the passive and active layers of the building. The Journey installed a structured copper cabling system terminating in keystone outlets in every room, and ran a fiber optic backbone vertically between all eleven floors, tying each floor distribution point back to the main equipment room. Cisco switches were deployed at the core and at every floor distribution point. A separate CCTV network was built alongside it, with cabling, power and camera positions planned so that surveillance traffic stays isolated from the administrative network. The Journey handled procurement of the full bill of materials — active equipment, passive components, racks, patch panels and cameras — and carried out installation, termination, labelling and testing on site.
